Wiring harness routing & packaging Rules Week 3 Challenge
Q1. Download following cad data & define it as Electrical support using Electrical Part design Workbench. Define all the necessary properties.
A) P-clamp diagram is provided velow. Generally P-clamp has two entry points and two exist points and one base plane. P-clamp is one of the supporting part.
First we need to define the geomentry parameters. After defining it, we need to define it as the electric support part by using 'define support'. After that we need to define the entry plane, exist plane and base plane. We have to do it two times because we have two entry points and two exist points, that's why we need to do it 2 times.

Q2. Download following Back shell cad data & define it as Electrical back shell using Electrical Part design Workbench. Define all the necessary properties.
A)
The above diagram shows the back shell 3d data. Why we use this because to connect this one at connector 'bundle connection point'. Here we need to define geomentrical parameters, x-axis is upto 90 degrees and z-axis should be in reverse direction. Another important one, in this and that connector bundle connection point the y-axis is used as a mating point so, we need to careful whether the y-axis is in right facing or not. After defining the geomentry parameters we need to define this one as a back shell. After this we need to define back shell conection point .

The above given tubes were described and uploaded below. For every tube the process is similar.First we need to select the protection part then we get certain parameters and from those we need to select Inner diameter and thickness fro above mentioned given values and bend radius will take like 1.5 times of outer diameter for every rod. each rod is prepared by avove values and submitted below.
