Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit
ANS1) a] Battery b] Generator c] Distrubutor d] stator e] ammeter f] fuse g] Regulator H]Ignition coil
ANS2) I would like to explain the three components of above wiring diagram i.e
1) BATTERY: A battery is major component component in electric vehicle because it supplies electric power supply entirely. Every battery there will be a certain voltage. A battery is nothing collection of cells. The main 'purpose' of the battery in automative vehicles is, it supplies the electric power to run the vehicle and this battery power use, we can reduce the pollution also.It stores the energy and the maximum charging time for battery is 2-3 hours.
2) AMMETER: Ammeter is a device which is used to measure the amount of current that flowing from the circuit. The device which is used to measure the amount of current is Ammeter and the units is Ampheres. For direct measurement, the ammeter is connected in series with the circuit in which the current is to be measured.
3) REGULATOR: A voltage regulator is a circuit that creates and maintains a fixed output voltage, irrespective of changes to the input voltage or load conditions. Voltage regulators (VRs) keep the voltages from a power supply within a range that is compatible with the other electrical components.
ANS3) Given data, load = 10 Amphs,we have to find the Fuse rating, Formula is I=P/V
The main use of Fuse is Prevent the flow of current above the range capacity
For 10 amphs the fuse rating will be upto 10*135% = 13.5 amps and next level is 15amps
ANS 5)At the insulator and At the distubutor there are connected in parallel. When two or more components connected in parallel theri voltage diff. at both ends will be same. The potential diff. Across components have same magnitude.
ANS6)One is at the Ammeter and Regulator the wires are connected in series. when the same current flows through all the components in the circuit. In such circuits, the current has only one path.
