Wiring harness routing & packaging Rules Week 3 Challenge
1.For the first task donwloaded the P CLAMP USING GIVEN LINK. igs file open in cativa software .
2. for define the all prameters for the p clamp go th partbody in tree and right click on it and select define in work object.
3.for define geometrical parameters go into the part design work bench.and define the two points for two planes tht is entry and exit plane. we need to create three plane entry,exit and abse plane .use the command point and plane for same.
4.wew define the three planes and to points for entry and exit planes as shown in below snap.
5. for next parameter we need to go into electrical part design workbench .using command define support part define part as an support part .
BACKSHELL PARAMETERS:
1.For the backshell1738312-2 we have igs file and open it into the part design workbench in catia v5. first we define the geometrical proeprties like connector connection point,nundle entry point ad axis system.
2. then we have to define the backshell as an electrical part so go to electrical part design . then select the command define bachskeel from tools and select the backshell and req points.
3. define the bachshell connection point as shows in snap below.
4.after bundle connection point an connector connection point we can hav all parameters in tree .
1.For the third practice we will create first catalouge slit cot for COT TUBE. Process...File>New>CatalogDocument
Select the Add family from toll bar then select catalouge as conduit and rename the catalouge as Slit COT.
2.for COT tube creation first we creat part filethat is go to File>new>Select Part> Rename as COT Tube.
we going to create 15mm COT so rename COT as '15mm COT' .Define protection part using command from tool bar. below window will popup ,
then select type either tape or corrugated tube. we will select corrugated tube . then select the ID & OD .
3.After prameter selection we have to save the COT Tube in catalouge 'Slit COT' .Using comman store device oen the catalouge and save the COT Tube . same process have t follow for the other given conduits.
