Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 4 Challenge

Wiring harness is defined as the bundle of wires which is used transmit the signals/current into desired location it has a several stages , as we are discussing about a mechanical harness design in catiav5.

first downloading the cad data from the open source fro te.com, by defining the connectors in electricaly defined inside the cataog, the catalog as defined in previous challenge can be used for several wiring harness assembly.

by opening new product file we create that as a wiring harness assembly part, inserting new product file inside the assembly productfile, we name that product file as a geometrical bundle and it is used to store the all electric devices like connectors , clips , clamping devices,

by opening assembly workbench inserting all the part files inside the geometrical bundle, after assigning particle irdinates and fixing all the connecctors on desired locations inside the assembly work bench.

by switching to electrical assembly workbench we will convert mechanical assembly to eletrical assembly.

later inserting ultiple brach we finalise the routing , routing corrogated tube on the provided wiring harness.
