As per the link provided connector part no DT06-08SA ( Its a Double Row 8S- 8pin contact connector )

-Download The Step file 3D Connector its located in document with Technical Parameters consider in specification list of TE website.

-Open The Step File of DT06-08SA Connector & Next crate the e Geometrical properties to connector

Create the Geometrical property :

This Geometrical property created in Mechanical Part Design Workbench

1. A) Axis System command this is one of the geometrical property of the system it helps to connect the connectors to mating connector very easily .

In XYZ Co ordinates Y axis should pointing towards the Front face of the Connector & X Axis should pointing in the direction of Locking mechanism of it may be left to right or top to bottom depend on the connector design with locking consideration. Z axis connector top and bottom or left to right its depend on the e design consideration of connector design.

1. B) Point Definition (This geometrical property used for Bundle Connection)

Electrical Part Design

Once the Geometrical property create to connector Then Add the Electrical Properties to the connector like Connector, Bundle Connection, Cavity Connection,Backsheel connection

-Define the parts as Connector (3D)

-Define Connector Connection point

-Define Bundle Connection Point

- Define Cavity Connection Point

Create the Geometrical property :

This Geometrical property created in Mechanical Part Design Workbench

Download the Step file in the TE website.

Open the 3D Step file next Create the Geometrical properties to connector like Point Creation & Axis XYZ

Electrical Part Design

Define the Electrical properties to the connector like

Define Connector

Define Connector connection point

Define the Cavity Connection point

Define the Bundle connection point

Download 3D the Step file of Mounting Clip in th TE website

Create the Geometrical property to Mounting Once it Completed Define the Electrical parameter of Cavity Definition to the mounting clip.

Electrical Assembly Design

Then Open the both Files in Electrical Assembly Design workbench

Click the Electrical Device Command next click the green color connection detail on connector it will assemble with the help of Electrical property definition.
