AIM:- To define all given connectors, clips as electrically using electrical part design workbench and also make a catalog for all electrical connectors, clips etc.

OBJECTIVE:- To understand the working of connectors and clips, nomenclature and how the mechanical part is going to be converted into electrical part with the help of electrical workbench.

THEORY:-

There are many types of connectors and clips are available in the market but they are used as per our requirement.

CONNECTORS:-

An electrical connectors, is an electro mechanical device used to jion electrical termination and create an circuit.

some of the most useful electrical connectors are given as follows:-

This is a type of tyco connectors.

CLIPS:- clips are used to provide the support to our bundles and wires.

How can given connectors and clips are electrically defined with the use of catia workbench.

1. CONNECTORS:-

Steps which are used in connector definition in the catia workbench.

• Create/ download 3D model
• Create required geometrical parameters
• Define part as connectors
• Define connectos connection point
• Define cavity connection point

so our electrically defined catia part is given as follows-

(i) Connector with 8 bundles connection point-

(ii) Connector with 3 bundle connection point-
