Week 9 - Project - Master Section Development

AIM : Create the Plastic component through the given Class-A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.

Create a tooling axis along the given class A surface.

Create point in the middle of the component

And draw a perprndicular line in the component.

OFFSET the class A WITH 2MM.

And work the patches with muliti-section surface.

Now work on the flage with the Class A SURFACE.

AND give the fillet to it

Dog house is the feature to avoid the sinkmarks.

Min widthfor the dog house is 12mm

and draft is 1.5 is min

Insert the geometric as dog house.

create a point in the cetre of the circle of the screw boss.

and extract the assemble face

Now these are the inputs of the Dog house.

draw the sketch of rectangular outer screw base of 12 x 12.

The dog house should open in one end.

so one end of the recangular is in the construction line.

and give extrude it.

now work on the rib creation on the closed surface using sketch end extrude it.
