B PILLAR :-

The B pillar is typically a closed steel structure welded at the bottom to the car's rocker panel and floorpan, as well as on the top to the roof rail or panel. This pillar provides structural support for the vehicle's roof panel and is designed for latching the front door and mounting the hinges for the rear doors.
B PILLAR CREATION :-
Improved class A :-
In this session created a Improved class A surface by removing the patches from the given class A surface.
class B creation :-
In this session created a class B surface by offsetting the class A surface.
class C creation :-
By taking boundary from the class A and then by using sweep commands class c surface is created.
Part body creation :-
By Trimming the class A ,B and c surfaces together we get closed body. Then created that closed body into part body
Dog house with 4way locator :-
In this operation created dog house with 4 way locator by taking referances from the master sections . Then by using union trim coomand removed unwanted material, assembled to main part body. And then transfered it into another side.
Ribs creation :-
The ribs are created 60mm apart from each other by following the previous exercises. And then by using Union trim command removed the unwanted material , assembled to the main part body.

MAIN TOOLING AND LIFTER AXISES :-
In this picture orange line indicates Mian tooling axis and Pink line indicates side core axis.
CLASS C SURFACE :-
All faces of the C surface are with 3deg draft.
CLASS B SURFACE :-
Min value at this are is 08deg Min value at this area is -0.7deg Min value at this area is 2.4deg
DOG HOUSE WITH 4 WAY LOCATOR IN MAIN TOOLING AXIS :-
Minimum of 0.5deg on red faces and 3deg on other faces.
DOG HOUSE WITH 4 WAY LOCATOR IN LIFTER AXIS :-
Minimum of 0.5deg on red faces and 3deg on other faces.
