Week 9 - Project 1 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features

as i have done the same model before now i just paste the input point so stakes in it:

now, i start with the locators, so i have created a new GEO-set for that, and created a new sketch for location in between the point as shown below:

now i have given thickness of 1mm, which is 40% 0f the base thickness, :height of locator is given by: 5 times of nominal thickness.

hence then , draft and chamfer is given after that radius is also given,

and also the draft analysis for the locator as well as 2nd locator.

since draft is passed, since the all faces are green, and also the heat stakes is also under draft analysis seems to be okay. since not face becomes red.

now we see how did i created the boss feature & translate it:\

you can see draft of the boss is given, and draft is 0.5 degree which pass the analysis:

hence by using translate the bosses are pasted to different location:

as you can see that, for ribs i have created the line and hence then using thickness commad the ribs are made solid, and using cut option the rib is seperated.

the rib face is offset by 5 tines of thickness it will define the height oif the ribs,

hence the draft & radius is given to the part and draft analyisis is as before, no negatuve draft is there.

after that, now we go for the dog design .

hence , the root thk of the dog is also created using offset surface and other command.

for creating dog house we have to follow dog house rule :

hence after this point for origin is created to copy, henc the house rules are followed.and using isolate point i have pasted dog house, also the draft analysis is also done, which say top face is all okay.

hence the toooling for the slider/ internal faces of the dog house are okay, and also after that, using copy & paste with link, i have pasted with translate command,

e

verything is okay.

thank you.
