Week -2
- Make a Simulink model of Doorbell using solenoid block with the following details:Solenoid: is device which is constructed using wire, and when electricity is passed through it the pin lies betwwen it pushes / or pulled according to magnetic field direction.
this is solenoid, as shown R is the solid which reciprocate when current runs / and shut offs.

is battery DC source.

is a switch, physical switch. it receiving the pulse from pulse genrator, through simulink to PS convertor because it Simscape block.

Ideal Translational Motion Sensor it sense the motion of the solid of solenoid and sends to Scope through PS to simulink convertor.

as they are reference which are essential for solving equation in background.

THIS IS THE SETUP FOR RINGING BELL.
SOLUTION:

In SCOPE1, THE INPUT IS GIVEN, Through the Pulse generator,

2. Use a thermistor to sense the temperature of a heater & turn on or turn off the fan as per the below conditions:
Temperature source: 20 °C from 0 to 10 seconds, 27 °C from 10 to 30 seconds, 23 °C from 30 to 50 seconds
Fan conditions: ON if the temperature above 25 °C, OFF otherwise
thermister is a devioce which have properties to flow / or block electron from it, when it gets heated.
this is a thermister , to which a bettery, at right side, a voltage sensor is used to measure the voltage, voletage sensor required resister to measure voltage accross it. so resistance is also used. as follow:

risistance & voltage sensor. Resistance value is take as 1.1 Kilo ohm.
here is battery where solver & grounded block is used.
it is a signal builder that show the condition of temperature with respect to time. as below

this signal gopes to thermister by using Simulink to PS convertor. your signal is ok or not you can use scope for it.
now we will check , whether the voltage is above 25 degree celcius then pass the current if not then dont let pass the current. for this we can switch. condition is that, we have used two constant , if comes '1' then the current for fan will flow optherwise not.
if you see in scope named " Measured voltage" , from 0-10 , temperature is approx 23 degree, 10-30 it is 26 degree and 30 above it is 24.5 degree.

now measured voltage goes to switch it switch on for 1 satisfaction , and 0 for if it doesnt satisfy.
since we want to satiusfy for 25 degree only so we put the threshold 25 degree so that if above 25 the signal will show 1.

here you can see for 10-30 the value is 1.
