Week 9 - Challenge 2 - Switch Bezel Design

Report on switch bezel

1. tooling axis creation

*create a sketch along xz plane and create an intersection along the plane , draw a two line on intersect line on the walls of the bezel .

* create a bisecting line by using the two lines.

*Then create a skecth along yz line and create a intersecting line and draw a line along intersecting line and dummy line along centre of plane. make an angle of 3 deg between them and then create the bisecting line with use of these two lines.

* After creation of two bisecting lines and create a tooling AXIS  by use of these two bisecting lines.

2. Creation of B surface 

* By using commands extract, untrim and extrapolate of side, bottom and top of the A-surface. Create a final trim to form the b-surface.

3. Creation of C surface

* By making boundary along the A-surface and using sweep command with draft direction along the tooling axis forms C-surface.

* Join C-surface and A-surface together.

4. Final Trim

* Trim the A-C surface with the B-surface.

* Make the surface into solid with the use of close surface command in part workbench.

5. Draft anlaysis

* Create draft analysis along the solid part.
