DRAFT ANALYSIS: for any plastic component draft analysis is important from manufacturing point of view. without draft , manufacturing is possible but we may not get the expected product , mainly the walls of the product are not in expected geometry. therefore, minimal draft for plastic component is 3 degree. there, for giving draft we reqiure a tooling axis. tooling axis is direction in which the core and cavity opens up.therefore, proper selection of draft axis is very important. tehre are three ways . the first is we have to check along the x, y ,z axis. if we dont observe the part clearing these directions, we have to check for a flat surface, then by taking a point we can create a axid and do draft analysis. if this method also fails, then we have to go for intersection method. in which, we use sketch or simply the line commands to intersect the inclined lines in the geometry and finally bisecting it we create a axis.
