Attachment Feature Creation(Ribs and Screw Boss)

Aim:

To create the door handle component from the given class A and then attach B side features in the component.

Software Used:

Catia V5

Given Class A:

Tooling Axis Creation:

The given surface is joined first to avoid any gaps and extracted a surface from class A and by using point and creating a line the tooling axis is created.

Draft analysis done on class A:

Creation Of Class B:

The given class A is offsetted and the patches created while offsetting is solved using multi section surface and the Class B is created.

Creation Of Class C:

Class c surface is created by taking the boundary of class A and sweeping it.

then the Class A and C is joined and trimmed with B surface.

Final Closed Surface:

Using Closed Surface in part workbench the final closed surface is created.

Then the B side features are created.
