For this type of engineering feature, the side core tooling axis is provided, and the inside draft is given 0.6 degrees for the dog house. The wall thickness has given a 2:3 ratio example if the component thickness is 3mm, the wall thickness of the dog house is 2mm. and a slot is given to the dog house and the wall thickness should be less than 40% from the component thickness that means if the thickness of the component is 3mm and the 40% of 3mm is 1.2mm so it should have a thickness less than 1.2mm after the slot is given. height of the slot should be between 0.3mm to 0.6mm and the minimum height and width of the dog house are 6mm and 12mm respectively. draft angle along the tooling axis is 3 degrees for the main component and 1.5 degrees for a dog house. The radius of the dog house is given 1mm on the outside and inside it is o.25mm.
