Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2

AIM:

        To Create the Screw boss  and Dog House for the Centre console coin holder

PROCEDURE:

SCREW BOSS:

* Create a geomentrical as the SCREW BOSS.

*Create a  positioned sketch to create circle for the screw boss.

*Draw a  two circle with 5.2 and 8.2 mm as diameter.

*sketch should be iso constrained.

*Insert a body and pad the circles with the given mm.

*Now,draft the circles eith the  given degree.

*Now create an another positioned sketch  to create a screw boss

*Draw two lines like X and pad these two lines.

*Now,union trim the unwanted lines  inside the circle.

*Now,give the fillets in the edges.

*Copy the sketch and give paste special and now the sketch formed as solid and give the translate with the given direction and mm.

*Now,we  successfully created a screw boss.

DOG HOUSE:

*Create a geomentrical set as  DOG HOUSE.

*Extract the base surface.   

*Now,create a point in the screw circle.

*Create a positioned sketch and draw a rectangle and make one line as constraction line in the rectangle box,because dog houuse  need only three sides.

*Sweep the sketch with the given degree and mm.

*Surface untrim the sides and offset it with the given mm.

*Now,trim the offset and give the thickness to create as solid component.

*Create a plane and extract the base wiith the class A and offset it.

*Now,replace the extact base with the offset.

*Split the offset  base and give the draft angle.

*Now,give the fillets for the edges.

*some,extra lines in the  dog hose to remove that extra lines extrapolate that lines and untrim them.

*Extrapolate them and trim them.

*Now,give the fillets in the dog house edges.

*we have created a dog house successfully.

*Now join the both screw boss and dog housse together.

CONCLUSION:

           We  have  successfully created the Screw boss  and Dog House for the Centre console coin holder
