Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 1

Creating the Rib in the coin holder console did before using the design rules for constricting a rib:

First the bottom surfacce is been extracted as the rib is going to be present there.

Then a positioned sketch is created and a line is drawn to create a rib.

After constructing, the line is extruded to a length of 12.5 mm as per the rule (5xt) along the tooling axis direction. And is given a thickness of 1mm as it is the rule says.

Then the rib is givin a draft angle on all sides along the tooling axis as the pulling direction.

The rib is then added to the console body. And the edges are filleted as per the rule.

To try miltiple ribs the distance between the ribs is considered and two more ribs are created by offsetting the primary rib before and after it.

Then these ribs are also extruded thickened and filleted after giving the draft angle and added it to the main body.
