                                                          Attachment Feature Creation

Aim : - To make a rib on coin holder component and draft analysis is checking.

Procedure : - 

• Select the faces on coin holder component to  create sketches.

• Create the sketch of a rib.

• Extrude the rib sketch of in any direction ex - Xy planes. giving the values of postive and negative as per requirement of component.

                                             

• With the help of thick surface command extruded part modify into a solid body.

                                             

• Solid body  should be drafted, to make the solid body into rib structure.

• After drafting the surface give the fillet values for help in drafting analysis.

                                  

• We have  to create the another rib with the help of mirror command.

• By selecting the surface of mirrorred component.

• After extruding the surfcae create intersect lines to see the correct shapes of the rib.

• After that the correct rib surface will be created.

Drafting

•  Drafting is possible for the rib.

                               

                                

Result :- Ribs and draft analysis is created with the proper measurement given for the component to create rib into a solid body.
