The ribs are used to give extra support to the bodies. They act as stiffeners.In industries,they are manufactured using some guidelines and have a standardised units given.

Again,tooling axis is created through considerig a common point on the axis which have a clearance on all the faces to be tooled.An intersction of the calss A is figured out and required surfaces are extracted and a bisecting line for the surfaces are created. It is taken as the tooling axis.The ribs are created in the direction of the tooling axis.
