Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 1

Tooling Direction:

Tooling Axis has been taken as the bisecting line of the both side faces of the center console coin holder. the same tooling axis has been taken for the creation of the Rib.

* I have extracted the bottom face of the coin holder as the base for the creation of Rib.

*I have taken a sketch on the base for the Rib and Extruded

* i have Thickened it as per the given input i.e,

Rib wall Thickness=.4*Nominal wall thickness

Rib Height=5*Nominal wall thickness

Draft= 0.5 degree

Rib Thickness at the tip =>.75mm

Fillet radius at bottom of the rib =0.5mm

Draft analysis:

Draft of the Rib has been given =-0.5degree

As i have given Red colour for more than or equal to 3 degree

Blue colour for 0 to 3degree

Green colour for less than 0 degree

i got green colour for the Rib as i have given -0.5 and
