Week 8 Worm Gear Challenge

Aim :

The aim is to analyze the given model.

Objective:

Within limits,have to rotate the worm so as to get to almost end of the half cut and get results for Equivalent stress, Equivalent elastic strain and the total deformation in the model.

Procedure:

Initially open up the ansys workbench,

then open up the model and edit it in the mechanical ansys,

change the names and reframe it,

Now add the contact point extra in gear,

now generate the mesh and

give the joint rotation,

change the required transtitial analysis settings,

and add the solution requirements,

finally solve it and save it as archive.

Result :

Therefore the given model has been analyzed and the results, animation and the archive are attached in the asset.
