Challenge

Week - 8 - Morphing

AIM:

The main aim of the challenge is to the morph the given model.

OBJECTIVE:

  • Performing the morphing on the two models.
  • increasing the height of the dog houses and ribs of the 2nd model.
  • understanding the various application of the morphing in various industries.

MODEL 1:

PROCEDURE:

  1. First import the cad model.
  2. Then extract the given model into topo to model to stitch the faces.
  3. check for the geometrical issue and fix if any.
  4. To morph the given component use box morphing and after creating the box to modify the geometry use and adjust accordingly.
  5. Increase the height of the rib by using box morphing and mv free to move the created box and increase or decrease the radius of fillet by using the same method.

MODEL 2:

PROCEDURE:

  1. Extract the given hand rest model into ANSA workspace and check ffor the geometrical eror if any.
  2. To increase the height of dog house and rib of the hand rest by using box morphing and mv free to move the created box and to adjust the height use and increase the height accordingly.

CONCLUSION:

The given model has been morphed.
