Week 8 Challenge

Steps:

1) Calculate SOC of UC from Current and charge

2) Calculate Current, Charge and Voltage from Power request and SOC

Power request is from EMS and SOC is calculated in First step

Explanation:

Load UC_Parameters.mat file before running the model

UC Model gets the power request from Energy management system. Calculate Current using Power request and SOC calculated in Step 1. Use Current to calculate Open Circuit voltage. Use Open circuit voltage and current to calculate charge capacity of capacitor. This charge capacity Q goes as input to SOC Calculation subsystem.

Hence SOC, current and voltage are obtained and plotted. Results looks like below
