-Tooling Axis :

 Need of tooling axis: The opening and closing of  mould and cavity depends upon the operation of tooling axis.

Tooling axis forms the basic part of the geometry. 

Depending upon the component the tooling axis creation can be formed in 3 types

-by direction

-normal to surface 

-Bisecting method.

In bisecting 2 opposite angular faces are taken into consideration. Afterwards Via intersection tool  a line is created  using bisecting command which  reveals the tooling axis for the surfaces
