Week 8 - Challenge 5 - Core & Cavity Design
Tooling Axis:
We use tooling axis as direct to feed or inject the molten material into closed core and cavity portion without damging of tool.I t is created with different method (i)Bisecting method (ii)Creating sketch and intersecting with axis. More ofetn bisecting method is used to create axis.

Draft Analysis:
This method enables us to detect if the part we drafted will easily removed during manufacturing and it meets the standard values of draft angle for molding process. This analysis is performed based on color ranges with different colors and draft direction at any point.

Parting Surface:
parting surface is a surface that separates the mold block into two parts – the core and the cavity.

Parting Line:
A parting line is an inevitable part of injection molded products. It is the line of separation between where two halves of a mold meet. It manifests itself on injection molded parts as a line that runs the entire perimeter of the part.
