Challenge

Week 8 - Challenge 2 - Switch Bezel Design

Create the Switch Bezel Plastic component through the given Class-A surface

  • Initially Class - A - Surface was not proper, and contains a gap in the STEP file.
  • I just Joined the gap with a 0.003mm merge.

  • Then created Class-B Surface.
  • Fillets are created inversely by subtracting or adding thickness.

  • After doing this I started creating Class - C Surface.
  • This was created with Class - A - Surface as a reference.

  • Now while joining Class - A & C Surfaces, I have faced difficulties.
  • So I corrected that extrapolate on both surfaces and joined using trim.

  • Now Class - A & C Surface were joined and trimmed with Class - B Surface.

  • Now the final product is completed.

Draft Analysis:-

  • For Class - A Surface

  • The final part draft analysis is done with 2.9 deg of draft angle.
