Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Draft Analysis on a Fan Cover

REPORT: firstly we need tooling axis for draft analysis. for finding tooling axis here i used bi-secting method. For the tooling axis i saw the cover from various faces and angles or axis, but from every axis i found some of blind faces. So i decided use bisecting method.

Then i started seeing fancover from normal to y-axis, i take a intersection of that part with respect to xz plane so that i can able to find some intersecting lines. i have extrude that lines, Bisect them then i found a vertical line from centre, which also used to find tooing axis.

then i repeated same procedure for norma to x axis face also, then i found another vertical line from centre. then i Bisect that both construction axis lines and i get Main Tooling Axis. Which helps in drafting.
