Week 7 State of charge estimation

Coulomb counting is the technique used to track the state of charge of battery pack. it works by integrating the actie flow current over time to derive the sum of total energy entering or leaving the battery pack.

This method measures the discharge current over time in order to measure SOC. the equation for calculation of SOC is as below.

SOC(t)=SOC(t-1)+(I(t)/Qn)dt.

How BMS implements coulomb counting for SOC estimation?
