Open open roads > select 2d seed files > save as alignment file > attach terrain file > set the coordinate system > turn on the map by using areal > draw the horizontal alignment > go to open profile model > select the alignment > open new layout > click on the profile display > go to horizontal file > select the terrain > set as active terrain > draw the vertical alignment based on the ground levels > click on compound elements to attach the lines into one line.
