Creating connection for Rear door

Aim:

To create connections for the given rear door component and to do the required connections.

Procedure:

Step 1:

Import the given FE to ANSA.

Step 2:

Check and do a study as to where to connect and what type of connection to use

Step 3:

Create respective PID for the different FE parts.

Step 4:

Type of connections used.

RBE 2 – multi

RBE 2- 2 node

Bolt connections

Spot weld connection

Spot line connection

Rigid connection

Step 5:

Finally the FE is checked if all parts are connected.

Learning outcomes:

I learnt to create various connections for the given part.

Conclusion:

Connections for the given door component and to the required connections were given.
