Week 6 - CHT Analysis on a Graphics card

Conclusion

For this analysis different velocities and meshing are adapted to identify better temperature distribution inside the enclosure to study the effect of heat generated inside the processor due to continuous working condition.

The table shows that as the velocity is increasing the maximum temperature is decreasing and average temperature is also decreasing.

Similarly with better meshing the temperature distribution and reduction in temperature shows in refined mesh. Therefore better meshing is recommended for achieving better heat transfer between processor and fins.
