Week 2 - Flow over a Cylinder.
Conclusion
For steady flow
For low Reynolds number like Re 10 there is no generation of vortices as the viscosity is less and less velocity.
As the Reynold number is increasing disturbance is started creating behind the cylinder creating a low pressure zone and vortices are started to generate. At Re 100 and up to 100000 vortices are started to form. As the Reynold number is increasing the number of iteration taken to reach convergence is increasing.
For unsteady case the lift coefficient is showing rapid changes when compare to steady case in which the value of lift coefficient is showing constant value.
