Week- 5 - Solid meshing

AIM:

For the given Rear view mirror component, check for the geometrical errors and mesh the Surfaces with the given 2D element Quality criterias given

PROCEDURE:

1. After opening the model in ANSA give topo to separate parts separately

2.The start meshing with given parameters use tria or ortho tria mesh

3.The define the volume inside the parts as solid 3d elements using define option in vmesh

4.Then remesh each solid parts using fem tetra mesh

5, Then check collapse quality parameter and repair the errors using reconstruct , move , improve options

OPEN THE MODEL IN ANSA

SPOT MESH EACH PARTS

DEFINE THE VOLUME INSIDE EACH PART AS 3D TETRA ELEMENT IN VMESH

NOW WE CAN SEE THE 3D TETRA ELEMENT INSIDE PARTS OF MODEL

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

1. The new options like tria , orthotria, DEFINE, Remesh , FEM tetra mesh, reconstruct ,move , improve etc are used for 3d tetra meshing of this model.

CONCLUSION:

The given model is 3d tetra meshed
