Week- 5 - Solid meshing

AIM:

The given model is rear view mirror. The aim of the model is to make a soild mesh using tetra mesh

PROCEDURE:

1. The model is imported first and then it is geometry cleaned

2. After the errors are cleaned the parts are spliited by property

3. Each part is then defeatured according to our convinience

4. Then the parts are starts meshing with the element size of 1 with mesh type as tria and ortho tria

5. for the flat areas trias are used and for the curve portion ortho trias are used

6. after the meshing improving of the mesh is needed it is done by reconstruction operation

7. after the meshing is done in the 2D it is then converted to 3D by using the volume mesh

8. Tetra mesh is created by using the options in the volume mesh

9. quality error are cleared in the tetra mesh as there is tet collapse is the quality error
