Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Aim :

Solid meshing

Method / Steps ( procedure )

1. Take the product from question and checked the from ( Tool – check- Geometry – select geometry using drop down select ) – select single corn also

2. Set quality criteria for meshing

3. Set mesh parameter

4. Assign length and micros parameter in classic mesh – parameter – length

5. Mesh the geometry using Classic mesh- mesh generation – spot mesh

In all the geometry till unmesh entity become 0

6. After meshing all the parts move to volume mesh and define each part using define in volume mesh –volume –define
   Give PID, Mid and proper name to volume , it create 4 volume in 4 step which is unstructured

7. Volume mesh

After generating volume we will create

8. Go to List in Volume and generate 1 by 1 volume mess using Volume mesh- volume- list – right click – remesh

All doing the same for all the parts .

Go to quality criteria and apply collapse and set it

Check the all quality criteria must be satisfy , if any off element we have to solve that using MVfree in class mess – grid – mvfree in desirer direction

After doing all clear we will get volume mesh which will be ready for next process

In this session we had learn to mesh solid body ( volume mesh)
