Week- 5 - Solid meshing

AIM :

        The solid meshing of a given component (Rear view mirror) is to be done in this challenge according to the quality criteria.

PROCEDURE :

1. First check the model have any error or damage surface.

2. After checking the geometry, go for the quality criteria for both shell, and solid and fix them according to the information in the challenge.

3. Start the surface mesh using the ortho trai component for the curved surface and tria for the flat surface to reduced the working time of the model.

4. Now, I started to define the volume separately for the edge-sharing component like ball and socket joint.

5. Then, I started the Re-mesh for each and every volume in the list.

6. Again I checked for the quality criteria of the tet collapse. It's zero error.

Thus I completed my challenge of solid mesh for the rear view mirror.

Result:

          Here I learned about doing solid mesh using unstructured mesh or tetra-mesh with good quality no kinks and dips in the model.
