Week- 5 - Solid meshing
Aim: To do a solid mesh using ANSA for the given rear view mirror model.
Procedure:
- Import the cad model.
- Do cons resolution.
- Check for connectivity.
- Do orientation.
- Do geometric checks.
- Give mesh quality parameters and Quality parameters.
- Suppress cons in the geometry to avoid geometric failure.
- After geometry cleanup generate a 2d mesh over the geometry.
- Do prevolume checks.
- Fix all the off elements occured.
- Define a volume for the geometry.
- Use tetra FEM option to mesh the given geometry.
Conclusion:
Thw given geometry is meshed accurately to satisfy the given quality criteria.
