Week 5 Challenge : Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly

Geometry

Basically 3 models are given

Engine model

as part of geometry cleanup all unnecessary parts are deleted

Parts to be deleted

after cleanup

then belts over pullies are also removed as they are thin

thin parts are not properly captured in surface wrapping

Gearbox

Transmission

As we are doing surface wraping here we are only concerned about the errors that are visible outside

Errors that are present inside the geometry is irrelevant when coming to surface wraping

After the necessary geometry cleanup

The three components are merged

Also all the holes or gaps that are visible outside are closed so that when surface wraping is done it shoudnot cause any irregularity

Then Under Mesh ----> elements---> Wrap is selected

Target length 5 mm and mesh parameters are given

Then after selecting the pids ,run is given , the surface wrap is generated
