Week 5 Challenge : Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly
>> For this given model which is called Surface wrap on automotive. First of all we have to go into the Engine model then we have to check the geometric errors inside this model. After i got geometrical errors and so many unwanted surface having inside this model. Then we have to do geometrically clean up and delete every unwanted surface by using Delete option. when we completed outer side clean up then we have to go inner side in this model. By using Inot option which parts needed we have keep it and remaining parts we have to delete.
>>After completed engine model then we have to go inside next model which called Gearbox model . In this model we have check where having geometrically errors and unwanted surfece. Then we have to do geometrical clean up and delete the unwanted surface inside this model. Once we completed outside geometrical clean up then we have to go inside the model by using Inot option, we have to check which parts needed we have keep it and remaining parts we have to delete.
>> After completed engine model then we have to go inside next model which called Transmission model. whatever i mention before we have to do same thing inside this Transmission model.
>> After we clearing geometrical errors all of model which is Engine model, Gearbox model and Transmission model. we have to go inside Merge option then we have to merge all of models.
>> we have to go inside Classic mesh option.we have some unwanted PIDs that thing we have to remove by using compress option. After we have to click Wrap option, we have to select the Constant wrap octree then we have to give the target length is 3 inside the castellation. After we did everything inside the wrap then we have to run and it will take 15 min for surface wraping.
>> After we did surface wraping then we have check inside this model. we have to make it as front view then hide some section on left side and right side.Then we have to check both side having visibility or not inside this model.
