Week 5 Challenge : Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly

ANSWER-

AIM- perform surface wrap of an automtive assembly with given target length.

OBJECTIVE-

1-topology cleanp of the given model of engine,gear box and transmission system.

2-Merge three parts together.

3-perform surface wrap on assebly

BODY-

Steps to be followed-1 open the given model of engine in ANSA using File>open

2-delete all unchecked by clicking on unchecked>show only

3-isolate all small element as shown below in figure by hiding major component  go iNOT>Select PID wise

and delete using universal delete

4-do the same for transmission system and gear box

5-one topo cleanup is done close all open hole from all three model

use TOPO Deck>faces>New>coons/fitted

6-go File>merge>choose first transmission system>open

keep seetings same as shown in pop-up box

click on ok and it will merge with engine 

do same again 

file>merge>choose gear box

after merge system looks like shown below

8-delete all deleted PIDs forcefully by using compress

9-go mesh deck>element>wrap>constant length

pop-up box as shown below will apear

10-double left click on  Empty

pop-up box as show below appears

11- double left click on Untitled 

 box as shown below apppears

provide target length as 3

click on Mesh

12-keep setting as same as shown below and click on ok

13-double click on contents as shown in 8 no image

provide filter name and select all PIDs  given and transfer it to OCTREE scenario by clicking on green arrow

click on Ok

it will take to previous pop up box 

there click on Run
