Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly

Aim: To do the surface wrap on automotive assembly.

Objective: To do the assembly of engine, transmission and gear box and do the surface wrap.

Procedure:

Step:1

Open the model form the save file of ANSA software.

Here we have 3 different model: -

1. Engine

Delete the unnecessary surfaces are present in the model.

Do the TOPO clean up for the model make sure that the no single cons present outside the surface.

2.transmission

Here also same do the TOPO clean up and make sure that there is no single cons and the open surface.

3.gear box

Do the TOPO clean up and no open surface present on the model that will affect the my model

While doing the surface wrap.

Step 2:

ASSEMPLY

To do the assembly using the marge tool.

After marring delete the unnecessary PIDS present using compress tool that will help in the surface wrap.

Step3:

Start doing the surface wrap using element tool< wrap>. In that give the mesh length(5) and select all PIDS and run the program.
