Week 2 Challenge : Surface meshing on a Pressure valve

Surface meshing on a Pressure valve

AIM: to do the Surface meshing on a Pressure valve.

Objective: the main objective is to meshing the pressure valve and give the different mesh length in different PID’S.

Procedure:

(TOPO clean up)

Step 1:

Open the cade model in the files which u have already save.

Turn on the single cons on the model by turning off double cons the triple cons.

Step 2:

After getting the model first step is to check the geometry of the model and execute, you can find errors in the model.

Step 3:

I order to mesh the model the model must be solid surface there for make the single cons in to double cons by creating the surface over there.

Step 4:

After facing give the names to the PIDS and give the colour also to differentiate the PID.

As shown below.

(Meshing)

Step 5:

Give the mesh the target length as 5, minimum length 3, maximum length 6 and check the quality measurement also ...!

Step 6:

After mesh lengths start meshing the model by spot mech operation.

Step 7:

While after generation of mesh check once our give mesh length will perfect for model or not if mesh length is high than the PID region then minimis the length .

Step 8:

After meshing all PID with different mesh lengths. this the final model on ANSA shown below.
