Week 5 Challenge : Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly
AIM:-
To perform surface wrap on automotive assembly.
OBJECTIVE:-
- Geometry clean up and delete unnecessary parts.
- Merge three models and perform surface wrap for a target length 3mm.
PROCEDURE:-
Open Engine model in ANSA.
Delete the geometries which are outside the model.
Delete overlap surface, unwanted geometries both outside and inside of the model. Topo cleaned geometry will be free from unnecessary surfaces.
Open Transmission and Gear box and perform the same operation.
After completing Topo clean up merge models to create a single model.
Fill all the holes and gaps which are present at the surfaces.
Compress the model, so that it will delete empty PIDs.
Now go to Mesh module and perform surface warp. Give a target length of 3mm.
Model after performing surface wrap.
CONCLUSION:-
Surface wrap performed on automotive assembly with a target length of 3 mm after topo clean and merging of three models.
