Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly using ANSA.

Aim: Surface wrap on Automotive assembly

Objective: 1)To learn componants merging and surface wrapping.

2) Target length for wrap= 3mm

3) Write a detailed report.

Procedure:

1) Delete the unnecessary parts by universal delete option.

2) Check for unchecked surfaces and delete that.

3) Remove the surrounded features from model.

4) Remove the duplicated surfaces.

5) external rings should be deleted.

6) Fill the necessary gaps to close the surface.

7) Now similarly do topo clean up for gear box and trasmission assembly.

8) Remove the unwanted triple cons and single cons.

9) Now after that merge that 3 model in single assembly. by using merging option.

10) Go to Mesh Deck. select wrap under mesh generation ,Then wrap that model. by assigning mesh parameters.

11) Select all the PIDs to be meshed and surface wrap.

12) Click RUN to perform wrap on selected PIDs.

13) Wrapping is done.

Conclusion: surface wrapping is done on model.
