Week 5

objective:To check the given geometry checks and then mesh the model with a given quality criteria and remesh the component with a volume mesh.

procedure:

1.Import the geometry and then check for the geometry errors and then fix if any geometrical errors by using the auto fix option.

2.Then mesh the given geometry with the shell mesh with the given quality criteria and then fix if any quality fails by reconstruction option.

3.After the meshing then go to the volume mesh then define the property id and then go to the list and then in that select the geometry that defined and then remesh the geometry with given quality criteria.

4.Give the collapse in the solid quality parameters and then check for the quality that fails and fix the quality of collapse with the move the free node in the particular quality fail in the component.

5.Make defining the each of the component for the volume mesh and then remesh the component.

conclusion: In this model learnt about the solid mesh with tetra elements and also geometry clean up and to fix the element quality and how to convert the shell mesh into the solid mesh.
