Week - 5 - 2D meshing for Plastic components

Aim :  For the given Plastic Bottle Cap model, check for the geometrical errors and take the mid surface by suitable mid surfacing techniques. PID and Thickness assignment has to be done for all the mid surfaces. Mesh the same with the given element Quality criteria.

Cheking the model for geometrical errors: 

Initially the model was checked for any geometrical errors present there and they were removed. 

Mid-Surface extraction: 

After geometry clean up mid surface was extracted using various suitable techniques such as Mid-surface from faces or using the middle option from curves or faces.

Mesh-Generation:

For mesh generation purpose Best mesh option was used. Wherever required batch mesh option was used as well. Again the mesh was checked for quality as well as per requirement and modified accordingly.
