Week - 4 - Crash Box Simulation

AIM:

To do the crash box simulation where the box is traveling at 50kmp, convert to gm/mm/ms.

PROCEDURE:

1. Import the model, initial keywords are present like nodes and shell elements, etc,

2. Create a section and material for the part id.

3. Rigid wall creation

4. Initial velocity of 50Kmph in mm/ms is inserted.

5. Contact needs to be defined between the surface of colliding with adjacent elements,

6. Control card for termination of simulation

Same for the 1.5-thickness part.

So, the plotting is done and attached below.

RESULT:

the difference is absorbed in the 1.2t and 1.5t
