Week 4 - CHT Analysis on Exhaust port

Aim: To perform CHT Analysis on Exhaust port using ANSYS FLUENT.

Theory: CHT analysis type allows for the simulation of the heat transfer between the solid and liquid domains by exchanging thermal energy at the interface between them.

Procedure:

Step 1: Open spaceclaim and prepare volume by deleting the unnecessary parts.

Step 3: Mesh the surface using share ans conformal mesh.

Step 3:Assign the inlet temperature and velocity.

Step 4:create a temperature and velocity contour.

Step 5:Create a streamline and wall.

Step 6: In the results section view the heat transfer coefficient.

Result:The heat transfer coefficent depends on the inlet temperature.

The exit velocity depends on the inlet velocity.
