Week-4 Challenge WOT Condition Part-2

1) Mapped Model of Engine:-It is used in steady state Engine Performance.It is used when we have data from dynamometer.

Dynamic Model of engine:-It is used as engine behaviour.The Engine characteristics are decomposed into smaller components and the real time performance is derived.This is used when we need deep analysis.

Mapped motor:- The mapped drive electronics in torque-control mode.This motor is used when we want the results fast.the output torque and input torque is compared then analysed.

Dynamic Motor:-Dynamic modelm of motor is it takes the real time value of the system.

Mapped Generator:- Mapped generator gives the steady state model of generator loking to lookup table.

Dynamic Generator:It gives the real time model of the generator.

To change the model type from mapped to dynamic and vice versa.

First go to modelling tab in it slect the varaint manager.

Then select on the dynamic model and riht click then click on set as label mode active choice.

2) The factors considered for model fuel flow is Vehicle Speed,Battery Power and Fuel Flow.

1 gallon is 3.78 litres.

The model calculate miles per gallon uing this and the results are oobtained.

3) Here we run the HEV Reference application.

Here we select the drive cycle as Wide open throttle.

Here in the environment, We change the grade to 7 and wind velocity to 10.

Then we run the cycle for 30 seconds time given by the drive cycle.

The following results are obtain.

Here In first graph we can see we accelerate and velocity is increased from 0 to 55 and then the Vehicle starts deccelerating in regenerative mode.

Battery SOC is changed from 80 to 70 and so on is given.

4)For hybrid and pure electric Powertrain.

For Hybrid,

Here we change the drive cycle to wide open throttle.

In the environment we change the grade to 7 and wind velocity to 10.

The following results are obtain.

For Electric Vehicle,

Change the drive cycle to wide open throttle,

The grade is changed to 7 and wind velocity to 10.

The following results are obtained.
