Week-4 Challenge WOT Condition Part-2

Q1)

1) mapped :

  • In mapped block we only conside steady state responce of the system.
  • we cannot consider transient responce of the system.
  • in mapped block predefined data is stored based on that we get responce.
  • we cannot get Real time responce.
  • mapped system is only act as a simple block based on applied input we get responce based on charectersics of the system.
  • simulaiton time takes less

2) dynamics :

  • in dynamics we design the system based on modeling of system.
  • in dynamics we get transisent as well as steady state responce.
  • in dynamics we cannot store predefined data we can find the results based on the given information. means it gives Response real time.
  • in dynamics system is mostly use to design of the vehicle because it operate in real time data.
  • if you want to study the details parameter of the system then we can go through dynamics system.
  • Simulation time takes large.

Q2)

milles per gallon: the ammount of energy requied to move a engine car through a distance is determined as compared to equievalent ammount of energy of electric energy required to move the carthrough the same distanceis expressed as a milles per gallon

mills per galon is calculated baesd on three parameter contain battery voltage, vehicle velocity and fuel flow.

Q3

Hybried electric vehicle: the HEV is the combination of the electric power train and poluted fuel system.the required power for vehicle is the combination of battery power and engine power. based on this we get the required power.

Hybrid electric vehicle responce:

Change Grade: we change the grade to 5.

conclusion:

when we add the hill climbing and wind velocity then it directly effect on vehicle velocity. the vehicle cannot achive its high speed. and ite also effect on the fuel economy. the fuel economy is upto its half value.

electric vehicle:

this is the responce of the lectric vehicle.

4) Comparison Of hybrid electric vehicle:

  • electric vehicle is compare with hybrid vehicle its take more energy battery and motor. but in HEV is the combination of both ice and electric motor torque. in this torque engine torque is greater than eectric torque then it takes high top speed compare to electric vehicle.
  • in electric vehicle we use lithum ion battery and in HEV use Ni metal.
  • the efficency of electric vehicle is higher than electric vehicle car.
  • electric vehicle has zero emission and hybrid electric vehicle has few emission.
  • in hybrid electric vehicle has some mechanical losses but in electric vehicle has less losses compare to hybried electric vehicle.
