Week - 4

1.Implement control logic of a “washing machine” using Stateflow as per given sequence:

Below points are the processes a washing machine follow during wash

-Power supply

-water

-Soaking

-Washing

-Rinsing

-Drying

Stateflow:-

The two inputs are given for the power & water supply. Once the inputs are given outputs are displayed by the flow chart as per the given sequence. The system is observed for sometime then it is checked and the process is completed by green light as displayed.

Control logic of a Washing machine

Power & water supply is on. Soaking started for 200 sec followed by washing time of 100sec. Then rinsing started for next 20 sec & dryer run for 50 sec. Then ended the process. Then assigned the input & output procee in the symbol pane.

When there is no water supply but power supply is available, process is stopped & indicated through LED.

2.“Gear shift” logic

State flow:

Control logic:

The stateflow chart is having two inputs which are speed & engine. The speed input is connected with a with a constant named 'Accelerated speed' and engine input is connected with a constant named 'ignition on/off constant.

The stateflow chart has two outputs named 'a' & 'b' , these outputs are connected to the display blocks. The display block connected with the output 'a' is named gear indicator & the display block connected with the output 'b' is named overspeed condition.

The over speed condition displays block displays the condition when the vehicle is attaining overspeed situation.

When the speed is below 16 Km/hr:

When the speed is below 25 Km/hr:

When the speed is below 40 Km/hr:

When the speed is below 60 Km/hr:

When the speed is above 60 Km/hr:

When the speed is above 100 Km/hr:

Simulation of gear shift corresponding to the given speed range has been simulated successfully.
